They sellin Daddy
Liquor on
Every other block
Barely living for
All the ones that we had lost

There’s no royalty in
Not being able to produce
What your body needs
High hopes
Swallow him
Like brown dirt
Embracing the casket
Not unlike Cole Sear,
I see dead people
Everywhere
Loved on me so hard
I nearly loved myself
Took my art
Dust it off the shelf
I told her she’s strong
& she cried
Let her know she can
& she tried
Took the weight
From her mind
Glasses fogging up
But her smile
Won’t fade
Who was I
To try and steal something homemade
Something unbreakable
Mendable
Shards of a broken mirror
She stands out
And allows those around her
To pick a piece
